However, making time and space to do it can be a struggle - but it doesn't have to be done alone. Along with parent and school staff support, Health and Wellness coaches as well as motivational speakers can help students reach their goals by developing a foundation for a healthy and happy lifestyle that will be part and parcel of their journey in the art & musician world. What makes me incredibly happy is reaching out to student artists and musicians in primary and secondary schools encouraging them to live healthy. Like the student athlete, their health, mind, and body needs to flourish. By adopting good eating habits, sleep habits and daily exercise, you have more time, energy, and focus on being more creative and productive in any art or music endeavor. I can't separate what athletes do and what artists and musicians do. Why? They are all a breed of youth that have the gift of ‘being in the moment’ while enjoying what they create on stage, on the field, in classrooms, in the parade, and wherever their art is heard, seen, felt and inspired.
